PAMPANGA: A Culinary & Heritage Journey
Schedule: June 6, 2025 / June 20, 2025
Your adventure begins with a warm welcome and orientation from your tour coordinator, setting the tone for a day filled with history, flavors, and culture.
The first stop takes you straight to the heart of Kapampangan cuisine — Aling Lucing’s, the birthplace of the world-famous sisig. Here, you’ll enjoy a hearty breakfast of this sizzling delicacy, lovingly prepared just as it has been for generations.
With your appetite satisfied, you’ll step back in time at the Pamintuan Mansion, a grand heritage home that once hosted the first anniversary of Philippine Independence. Strolling through its historic halls, you’ll be transported to a pivotal chapter of the nation’s story.
Not far away stands the majestic Holy Rosary Parish Church, fondly known as the “big church” of Angeles. Its centuries-old architecture and solemn atmosphere provide a moment of quiet reflection and awe.
By midday, prepare for a true Kapampangan feast. Indulge in culinary masterpieces like bringhe, kare-kare, and refreshing halo-halo — flavors that define Pampanga as the country’s food capital.
The journey continues at Museo Ning Angeles, where stories of the province’s vibrant past and its culinary traditions unfold in engaging exhibits. From there, your tastebuds will be delighted on a guided walking food tour of the Heritage District. Each stop offers a taste of local treasures — tibuk-tibuk, suman, tamales, and melt-in-your-mouth pastillas.
Before heading home, you’ll have time for a pasalubong stop at beloved institutions like Susie’s Cuisine and Everybody’s Café, where shelves are lined with Kapampangan delicacies and kakanin — the perfect treats to bring home and share.
The day wraps up with hearts (and bellies) full, as you journey back with lasting memories of Pampanga’s rich heritage and world-renowned flavors.
